Rob from Little Rock, AR here. I'm thinking of coming to do this race and was wondering if IC3 members in the Dallas area plan to race and in what category?

I qualify for the 35+ cat 4, but would race the regular cat4 if there were more team mates that way. I think I read on your forum about a Jr racer trying to get upgrade points? I can be a domestique (and I've got the racing background to actually help – I'm only a cat 4 now because I took several years off to concentrate on fatherhood – I was cat 3 state champ in CO when my wife was pregnant with our oldest)

Hi Rob!

That race is only in its 2nd year, so its not something we've done before.  Only a few members of this spoke race…most are rally riders.

 

I am coaching the junior you read about, and the only thing we have on his schedule for the moment is a 'fitness check' race in Copperas Cove on Jan 22.  After that, I'll start looking at the remaining races.  I definitely want him going to a much more established stage race in Fayetteville, TX, which I think is in March.  I'm looking at him hitting one of the “must-do” races each month, minimum.
